EDEXCEL NVQs in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Access is not restricted to those who are in current IT employment. Candidates who accumulate sufficient valid evidence of their ability to perform to the required standard may be awarded either individual units or full NVQs. Assessment will be made using realistic work environments, temporary work placements and direct workplace evidence. Full credit will be given for evidence of existing competence.

The IT Practitioners and IT Professionals NVQs operate at 3 levels with up to 16 different areas of competence. Not all of these need to be covered. They can be mixed (using rules) to create an individual course at the desired level appropriate for YOUR job role.

IT Practitioners Levels 1 & 2

IT OPERATION		IT MAINTENANCE		IT APPLICATIONS

Different combinations of units are possible at Level 1 and Level 2.
In the IT APPLICATIONS route you will be able to combine any four units for the award.
Delivery and attendance is flexible part-time or full-time and may involve your workplace or placement.

How will I be assessed?
